Florence Alabama. Tamara, affectionately known as TT Tam, was called home to be with the Lord on June
28th at the tender age of 39.

Tamara attended Redan High School in Stone Mountain, GA where she graduated in 2002. She then
attended Benedict College in Columbia SC, where she earned her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
While at Benedict , Tamara's love for Jesus was on display as a member of the renowned Benedict College
Gospel Choir. Tamara travelled nationally and internationally sharing her faith through song. The gospel
choir is where Tamara met her lifelong friends that became her sisters.
She was initiated into Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Tamara's love and light
captured her essence giving her the line name,
" KOVERGIRL"
.
Tamara's love and kindness towards people were like rivers that would overflow into the acts of service
towards others. Tamara joined the Jumpstart program which is a national early education organization that
prepared underserved children for success. Her participation in this program stirred her heart for children.
Tamara went on to serve as a leader for both Redemption Charlotte and One Church Children's Ministries.
According to Pastor Berry, Tamara cared for all the children like they were her own children. She was
deeply loved by all who encountered her and everyone reflected on her smile and laughter, that would
permeate any room she occupied. Tamara's ability to make everyone feel like family carried over into her
workplaces. She shared her life with Colleagues from Wells Fargo, Bath and Body Works and Lane Bryant.
