Torey King's Obituary
Torey Levert King was born on March 12, 1977, in Sheffield, Alabama, to Levert and Juanita Coffey King. He departed this life on October 31, 2016 at UAB Hospital-Birmingham, Alabama.
Torey accepted Christ at an early age as his personal Savior at Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church.
Torey attended the Colbert County School System. He later received his welding certificate of apprenticeship. He worked for Millwright Local 1192 for four years.
He was known to many as "Cookie Mane" the rapper. He loved music and antique cars. He loved spending time with his family. Torey touched many through his love of music.
He was a very giving and kind-hearted person. He had a great sense of humor. His presence would light up the room. He will be missed by many.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Tiara, TaKari, and Taryan; one son, Torey Jr.; his loving mother, Juanita Coffey King; his father, Levert King(Mary); two sisters, Tonya Cox (Trell) , of Ocala, Florida, and Tamika Steward, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; a special friend, Latia Darley; three nieces, Keone, Kyonna, and Khaila, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
