Obituary

Better known as "Honeybee," a name given to her by her
father when she was a baby, TruWanda Lasha Eastland
was born on September 29, 1982, to Linda Hodges and Joseph
Eastland. She departed this life on February 25, 2024, at
North Alabama Medical Center.


She was a resident of Lauderdale County and graduated from
Coffee High School. Honeybee was known to be a fashionista
diva. She had a keen eye for style and fashion. She graduated
from Northwest Shoals Community College. She began her
career beautifying clients as a Managing Cosmetologist with
Regis Hair Salon at Regency Square Mall.


Honeybee was the go-to person for anything you may need.
She was always reliable, hardworking, and very dependable.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mrs. Estelle
Eastland and Mrs. Willie B. Fuqua.


She leaves to cherish her memories: her sister, Holley Felton;
brothers, Michael Felton (Blair) and Eli Felton (Tracey);
niece, ShaAmber Felton, Mytasia Felton, Miylah Felton, and
Neveah Felton; nephews, Preston Smith, Brandon Felton, and
Elijah Felton; great-nieces, Takassity Felton, Serenity Vance,
and Tamiyah Brown; Honeybee also leaves to cherish special
memories with her special cousin/sister, Angel Malone; and a
host of other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends
