Mr. Walter "Spudnie" James Summerhill, Jr.. 39 , died peacefully on July 12, 2017 at his mother's home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born September 18, 1977 in Florence, Alabama to Walter James Summerhill, Sr., and Linda Olivia (Guins) Summerhill.
After moving Tulsa, he worded as a cook. He had a real natural talent of fixing things. He enjoyed working on cars, and installing stereo equipment. Some of his hobbies were fishing, spending time with his family and playing video games. Walter was a positive role model to children, and well liked by all.
He is survived by his wife, Mary D. (Allen) Summerhill, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sons, Tynorris Summerhill, of Hamilton, Alabama, Devon James Luckey and Nikyah Luckey, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Teia Summerhill, of Hamilton, Alabama and Takeia Summerhill, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Kyle Summerhill, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sister, Kim (Edward) Hobbs and Sissy (Kenny) Ward, both of Tuls, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He will be deeply missed.
