Ms. Wanda Gail Beckwith-alexander was born March 13, 1960 in Florence, Alabama, to George and Rosa Beckwith. She departed this life on April 25, 2018. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Underwood Baptist church, a pillar in the community, a truthful warrior for Jesus. She worked at Gemstone and she was a caretaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Alexander; her father, George Lee Beckwith; her brother, George Lee Beckwith, Jr.; and her niece, Datamera Beckwith.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: mother, Rosa Beckwith; daughter Yakima (Michael) Chandler; sons, Demetrius Freeman, Vincent Freeman and Joseph (Chelsey) Simpson; grandchildren, Michael, Jarae, Damoni, Londyn, Lawyer, and Emily; mother, Mrs. Rosa Lee Beckwith; sisters, Ms. Annie B.
