WINFRED LINEER PRIDE was born on January 31,

1955, to the late Will Pride and Lois Overa Pride. He

departed this life on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

At an early age, he confessed in Christ and became a

member of East Florence Missionary Baptist Church. He

was a graduate of Bradshaw High School and received

his BS Degree in Accounting from Alabama A&M

University. After 36 years of service, Winfred retired

from Occidental Chemical company.

Winfred was preceded in death by his father, Will Pride;

mother, Lois Pride; uncles, Felix Pride, Roe Pride,

and Eddie Pride; and aunts, Sally McShan, Artanda

Newsome, and Laurine Pride.

Winfred leaves to cherish his memories: his one son,

Kelvin Bennett; three granddaughters, Dianne Bennett,

Kameila Bennett, and Khloee Bennett; brother, Michael

Pride; sisters, Glenda Page and Cynthia Pride; uncles,

Walter Dennis (Shirley) and Millard Dennis (Maria);

nieces, Tiffany Oden (Rickey) and Lakita Page; nephew,

Will Page, Jr.; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and

friends, including special devoted family friend, Carl

Overton.
